History & Workmanship
This naja once served as the “crown jewel” center of a squash blossom necklace. At some point the necklace was disassembled; the naja was then professionally converted to a stand-alone pendant. My jeweler has fully examined the piece, confirmed the inlay is secure, and custom-fit a sturdy stamped bail so it can be worn on your favorite Navajo pearls or heavy chain.
Ray Tracey is celebrated for his bold, modern inlay work and sculptural Navajo designs, and this naja is a textbook example – strong lines, vibrant stones, and substantial silver weight.
Condition
Vintage pre-owned condition with normal light surface wear and patina consistent with age.
Several hairline cracks in the inlay visible under close inspection; all stones are tight in the channels with no movement and are secure per jeweler’s inspection.
Bail, loops and metal are solid and ready to wear.

Why you’ll love it
This is not a small pendant – it has serious presence and looks incredible on heavy Navajo pearls. It’s a fantastic opportunity to own a signature Ray Tracey naja without having to hunt down a full squash blossom.
