There is something particularly beautiful about old turquoise.
A striking vintage sterling silver cuff featuring a dramatic sunburst cluster of turquoise stones, each displaying its own individual color, matrix and character. Slender turquoise cabochons radiate from the center, surrounded by traditional silver raindrop work, while larger stones continue along the cuff.
The result is wonderfully sculptural — substantial enough to stand completely on its own, yet exceptionally wearable.
At approximately 48 grams, this is a beautifully constructed piece of vintage Southwestern silverwork with the weight and presence we look for when curating older turquoise jewelry.
The construction and design are characteristic of traditional Navajo cluster work. The piece is unsigned, so attribution to a particular artisan cannot be confirmed.
